Terms of Service

By using Kahui you agree to these terms. Kahui is an early build and is provided as it is.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding agreement. Kahui is invite-only for now. One account per person.

Your account

You sign in with your phone number and are responsible for what happens on your account. Keep your number and your phone secure.

Real people, real places

Kahui shows real people at real places. We do not verify who anyone is. Use your own judgment about who you sit with and where, meet in public places, and look after your own safety. Kahui is not responsible for what happens when people meet.

What you must not do

Do not harass, threaten, or harm anyone. Do not use check-ins or the map to follow, track, or find someone who has not agreed to it. Do not pretend to be someone else, post illegal or hateful content, send spam or sales pitches, collect other people's information, or interfere with the service. You can report content and block people. We can remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you create. You give Kahui permission to host and show it so the app can work, for example showing your check-in to the audience you chose. You are responsible for what you post.

Places and events

Information about places and events comes from members, from OpenStreetMap and Apple, and from the pages of links people paste. It can be wrong or out of date. Check before you go.

The service

Kahui is changing fast. Features may change or stop, and the service comes without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Kahui is not liable for indirect or incidental damages.

Ending your account

You can delete your account any time in Settings. We may suspend or end access for breaking these terms.
